Signing Tots
Sign with your Baby

Wouldn't it be great if you could:

  • Ease the tantrums & frustrations for both baby & you
  • Initiate a conversation & find out what your baby is thinking, needing, wanting long before speech.
  • Create a closer, special bond
  • Enhance their early language development & have an increased interest in books.

Well now you can by using simple British Sign Language Signs when you talk to your baby. All courses are based on the award winning SIGN with your BABY™ programme by Joseph Garcia.

  • Beginners Stage 1

These run for approx one hour per week over a six week period and will give you the opportunity to meet other like minded parents and make future friends.

Babies up to 2 years old are welcome depending on their level of vocabulary

Learn the basics of signing so that you have enough to get you started and we will show you when, how & where to sign to get the best possible results. We will review new signs each week and RECAP on how things are going, learn more signs through songs, nursery rhymes & games with the help of signing Sam and her friends. After all this fun we have a chat and a coffee and let the babies play.

  • Beginners Stage 2 Sign & Sing

For children already signing & for families with toddlers wanting to learn Signing up to 4 yrs of age.

  • Workshops in your home.

These run for approx 1 1/2 hours and are available either during the day or on an evening normally with or without the babies so that parents can concentrate and focus on what is being taught.

These workshops are normally tailored for your babies age and developmental stage and again covers how, when & where to sign.

These are for parents who do not have the time to attend a weekly course. This can be with a group of friends in a relaxed familiar environment.

  • Sign & Sing Sessions For Nurseries And Childrens Groups

Let Signing Tots visit on a weekly basis to run fun tailor made sessions for ages 1-5 yrs. Repetition of signs learnt through songs, rhymes, books and props helps little ones to remember words and gestures enhancing their speech development and communication skills.
